My name is Matthew Sykes. I am not defined by my job but by the things I create and bring into the world.
I am not my job. I am myself when I leave my workplace and leave the grind behind. I am not career minded. I am only driven to do those artistic things that I WANT to do and in the way I WANT to do them (i.e. MY WAY). This is how I express myself. Through songs and music and lyrics and the images I capture with my camera.
I am a perfectionist (which is more a curse than a blessing) so I create the world I would prefer to live in, rather than living in the real world. If you don't like reality, change it. If you don't like the world, change it.
Do what it takes to be happy (as long as you are not hurting anyone else or yourself!!).
